Moody’s Namena Resort is a privately owned island on in the South Pacific. Environmentally friendly and secluded, with a range of white sand beaches and tropical forests, Moody’s Namena Resorts offers a range of relaxing activities, from scuba diving and snorkeling to exquisite honeymoon vacations. Situated on the island of Namenalala, our island rises from the depths of the Koro Sea and is situated on the edge of Bligh Waters. The island is surrounded by the Namena Barrier Reef, which is widely considered to be one of the finest diving and snorkeling reef ecosystems in the entire world.
Activities
Nature lovers flock to Namenalala Island each year to enjoy the natural landscape and protected sea environment. The most popular activities here are snorkeling, diving, and swimming. With over thirty kilometers of seamounts and walls, the Namena Barrier Reef surrounding the island represents one of Fiji’s most diverse reef ecosystems.
Another popular activity on Moody’s Namena Resort is kayaking. Our island is about a mile in length; it thus takes around two to three hours to circle the island via kayak. Or, you may wish to kayak from beach to beach for an entire afternoon, stopping to snorkel in particularly attractive areas. We will even send along a picnic lunch for you to pick up at a designated spot.

Rooms and Facilities
For accommodation, we offer traditional Fijian bures that are built with bamboo, wood, and cane as a means of fitting in with the natural environment on the island. All of our bures feature spectacular oceanfront views. Many of the walls featured sliding louvered doors from floor to ceiling, opening out on to verandahs that offer 180 degree views on to the sea. The numerous plants, fruit trees, and bushes growing between each bure guarantee privacy.
Dining
Our large clubhouse is where dining takes place. It is the perfect place to meet fellow guests and share in the communal experience of an adventure on Moody’s Namena Resort. Alternately, those seeking a more romantic dining atmosphere can enjoy dining on the patio, where our staff will be happy to accommodate you. We offer a range of meals featuring fresh seafood and tropical fruits grown on the island.
Transportation
We will transport you by boat from CopraShed Marina to Namena Island – the price for this transfer is included in the package for the resort.
