Our island is conveniently connected to the mainland by bridge. The layout of the resort has been designed according to traditional Fijian culture. All of our rooms were recently renovated to guarantee visitors the utmost in modern luxuries.
Activities
We offer a range of guided tours and environmentally friendly activities each day on our island. You can begin your day with a morning walk at 6am. At 11am, we satiate our nature lovers with an exploration of some of the island’s finest natural resources.

Over four hundred luxury guest rooms and suites are available at Shangri La’s Fijian Resort. This makes it one of the most popular resorts in all of Fiji. Premiere Ocean and Beachfront Bure Suites are also available, for those who wish to experience a touch of traditional Fijian living. Our suites offer panoramic sea views that will take your breath away. All of our rooms and suites feature traditional Fijian furnishings and décor.
Dining
We offer a range of dining options for our guests, most of which feature arresting views of the ocean and the natural Fijian island landscape. Our Beach Bar & Grille is a perfect place to spend whiling away the afternoon. Here, you can enjoy a variety of cocktails, as well as casual meals such as burgers for lunch and dinner.
The Café Coral is situated next to our Coral Pool and features coffee and desserts. Lunch and afternoon tea menus are also on offer here.
The Kalevu Restaurant specializes in Australian cuisine, while the Takali Restaurant is the ideal place to sample freshly caught seafood.
Transportation
The Shangri La Fijian Resort offers a number of transportation options. Our resort may be reached by a fifty minute drive from Nadi International Airport. You may rent a car from one of the numerous agencies at the airport, or we can arrange transportation for you in advance. Once you are here, you can travel around the island by taxi, which is a relatively inexpensive means of transportation in Fiji. Open sided buses provide public transportation.
