Only twelve people are allowed to stay at our resort at a time, guaranteeing maximum privacy and the utmost quality in traditional Fijian hospitality. Tiliva Resort is meant for divers. Our bures are situated just off Kadavu Island’s white sandy beach, and feature magnificent views of the bay. Kadavu Island is off Fiji’s beaten track, which means it is never overrun with tourists. It offers the perfect locale for taking a diving vacation. It also offers a glimpse of traditional Fijian life. The resort is reachable by boat – you will not find any cars whatsoever on Kadavu Island – just an environmentally friendly tropical paradise with stunning scenery.

Activities

Tiliva Resort offers a range of activities that will help you take maximum advantage of Kadavu’s Islands numerous natural wonders. You can hike around the island, enjoying the tropical paradise and waterfalls. Snorkeling and drop line fishing are both on offer; night fishing is also possible on Kadavu Island. We offer trips to a local bird sanctuary, as well as tours of the mangroves and rainforest. You can charter a boat or go kayaking around the island, or take a tour of the coast with a local medicine man.

Rooms and Facilities

Our accommodation consists of six self contained bures, which come with traditional Fijian style décor. The ceilings are quite high. All bures have ceiling fans and private verandahs from which you will enjoy a stunning view. Five of the bures are located on the hillside, while one, our honeymoon bure, is situated in front of the beach. Each of our bures is serviced on a daily basis, so you will not have to worry about tidying up during the course of your vacation.

Dining

Each day, we serve a free English breakfast to all our guests. This includes juice, tea, coffee, fruit, toast, sausage, bacon, ham, eggs, and cereal. For lunch and dinner, we serve fresh tropical fruit from our own garden. We also offer a range of freshly caught seafood, pastas, pizza, barbeque, and more. This is a great place to sample Fijian cuisine. But we also offer a range of international specialties that will make your mouth water. Guests can watch their meals being prepared in a traditional Fijian underground oven. Drinking water is drawn from a local spring.
